Vietnam National University of Agriculture (VNUA) established on 12th October 1956, is a key and leading national university in human resource training and scientific research in agriculture and rural development. The University is situated on a campus of nearly 200 ha, has a system of modern lecture halls, experimental and practical facilities, spacious dormitories, a modern library system, a large gymnastic and sports complex, and many other crucial teaching, learning, and research facilities.
VNUA is a large scale multi-disciplinary University with the current numbers of staff and students of 1,344 and around 20,000 respectively. At present, VNUA comprises 13 Faculties, 10 Research Institutes, 22 Centers for Research and Services with more than 1,344 staff members and around 20,000 students, and offers 55 Undergraduate Training Programs, 22 Master Training Programs, and 18 Doctoral Training Programs.
VNUA is striving to be a multi-disciplinary and multi-campus autonomous university following the model of research university, a national and regional center of excellence for creative innovation in training human resources, conducting top research, applicating knowledge and developing technology in agriculture and rural development.
Mission of VNUA is to train and supply high quality manpower; pursue research and development, and new technology and knowledge dissemination in agriculture and rural development to contribute to agriculture development and to international integration.
