In the summer semester of the academic year 2015-2016, Can Tho University has launched a new master programme in Tropical Aquaculture. The programme has been designed based on the collaboration between Vietnamese institutions including Can Tho University, Nha Trang University, Hue University, Vietnam National Academy of Agriculture, Institute for Aquaculture Research No. 2 and University of Gent (Belgium) within the framework of the VLIR-Network project. The teaching staff are professors from partnered university. English is the language of instruction in the program. Four full scholarship are granted to qualified students on the basis of admission screening, which covers travel cost, tuition fee, monthly allowances, and medical insurance. The maximum number of prospective students is from 20 to 30 for each academic year.
As for the academic 2015-2016, the candidates can apply for admission until August 15th, 2017.
